The second in a Canvas by Canvas series of paintings of old gas pumps,
these leaning fuel pumps were also photographed along Interstate HWY 35
at a restoration station for unused but still loved pumps and soda pop
machines. The Canvas by Canvas artists took a field trip to Abbott,
birthplace of Willie Nelson, to record some scenes and relics of our past,
and these old pumps just screamed to be remembered!
The nine individual 8" x 8” square canvases were painted by nine different
artists and each is initialed discreetly. They are framed together in a custom-
built frame made to last for generations. Each painting comes with a
Certificate of Authenticity signed by the contributing artists.
