Nancy is perhaps the person in the group who has traveled the farthest and most often to attend art
workshops, having enjoyed trips to study with famous artists in Italy and Mexico as well as in many states in
the US. She estimates the number of workshop artists at about 30. Her infectious enthusiasm for adventure
and new projects has spurred this group of friends to new levels of interest and activity in the arts area.

and it provides a beautiful and pleasing journey of new places and new friends. There is a constant race
against time, some risks, and so much to learn in the search for the beauty and joy in paints, water, paper
and canvas. All that I see and experience has the potential for a painting or a journal entry.”

watercolors and acrylics, following a background of years working in textiles, batik
and silk fabrics. Her paintings have taken honors in juried shows and many of her
works have places of honor in private collections throughout the country. She
keeps an active membership in the Society of Watercolor Artists of Fort Worth, the
Southwestern Watercolor Society of Dallas, International Society of Experimental
Artists and the Arlington Visual Arts Association. She has degrees and
certifications from Tarleton State University, University of North Texas and Texas
Woman’s University.
